The cottage was clean, cosy, and situated in a lovely village with great facilities on your doorstep. The location is perfect, with Scarfell Pike, the beach, and Stanley waterfall nearby. The host, Natasha, was extremely informative and her Jamaican food was absolutely amazing - highly recommended. The little touches, like providing for our dog, made our stay even more enjoyable.
There were a few minor issues. It would have been nice to have a bathmat and a teapot that pours well.

The bathroom is fitted with a shower. It's compact but functional, perfect for a quick wash before exploring.
I personally would have preferred a bathtub instead of just a shower.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cottage in a beautiful village near Scafell. The location was perfect, with pubs, a bakery, and a shop nearby. The cottage was clean and nicely decorated, and we appreciated the welcome pack provided by Natasha. The bedrooms were spacious and the bathroom had a great shower. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend it.
The stairs to the top bedroom were a bit steep, so those with mobility issues may have difficulty. Additionally, the garden was not fully enclosed, which could be a concern for pet owners.

Quaint cottage with a lovely garden and a barbecue. Close to Scafell Pike and Keswick, perfect for hiking. The tennis court was a fun bonus activity.
Stairs were a great workout, good luck to anyone with weak knees.

The location of the cottage was ideal, with two nearby pubs serving delicious food and a bakery for fresh treats. The village of Gosforth offered a great selection of local goods. The cottage itself was clean and well-prepared, with both bedrooms being a nice size and the bathroom boasting a good shower and complimentary toiletries. It also had a fully equipped kitchen, making it convenient for preparing meals during our stay.
Those with mobility issues might find it difficult to navigate the steep stairs, as they are a little steep and have exposed sides.

Personally, I would have preferred a bathtub instead of just a shower. But hey, that's just me!

Personally, I would have liked an additional bathroom. Others may not mind though.
